Vintage quilt.

This is my vintage quilt I have been working on for over 2 years. I am hand quilting it and I am up to the final round of blocks.

This is a photo of the quilt top before I had basted it.

Here are some photos of the progression of the hand quilting.

And here is the almost finished quilt... not long to go now! I am very excited!

  2. It's looking great, Sam. Not far to go! I am finishing up hand quilting a quilt, too, and the closer I get to the end, the more excited I am and the faster I quilt.

  3. just beautiful, well worth the time you have spent- It has been neat seeing your progress (not adding a hand project to my TO-DO just yet though) not quit true, I do think I will do at least one in my life just don't know where or what yet. I have a couple of old tops that might get the roll. cw

  8. Enjoy the process Sam. I haven't hand quilted in a couple of years, but it is so relaxing and you end up with a product that can't be duplicated by machine. When (if) I get my hexagon medallion pieced, I plan to hand quilt it, just for the relaxation. Take care. Lane
